Triple Your Profitability and 10X Your Valuation
Welcome to the third issue of the Business Building series, where we'll continue diving deeper into the world of CEO business coaching and introduce Verne Harnish's Scaling Up Method.
This method is based on the principles and strategies used by John D. Rockefeller and other successful business leaders. It is focused on scaling up businesses, and claims to double cash flow, triple profitability, and 10X valuation.

What is unique with Verne?
This method works well for all industries and all sizes of businesses; it focuses on scaling them up in the same way that Rockefeller did.
Verne's book contains dozens of stories about how his method has been used to scale businesses across industries.
It has a special focus on strategy that no other method has, introducing four tools for that, while others cover it briefly and focus on execution.
He also provides options for tools to use based on the size of your business and ideas based on how fast you are scaling.
While Mochary uses the OKR (Objectives and Key Results) system, Verne uses a simpler system that Gino also adopts in his EOS method; it is a system that is based on:
1- Setting the critical number, i.e., what moves the needle
2- 3-5 rocks that support the critical number ranked for the quarter
3- A quarterly theme and celebration/reward to the employees who bring the critical number to life
4- An emphasis on posting the critical number to the whole company so that employees are aware of the progress towards it every week
