Fine-Tuning Your Business Growth: Weekly Adjustment Strategies for Success
In our previous issue, we discussed goal setting as a crucial element for growth. However, merely setting goals is not enough; it's essential to continuously evaluate and fine-tune your plans to stay on course. Otherwise, all your efforts may go to waste.
According to the 80/20 rule, 80% of business owners don't plan adequately, while only 20% effectively execute their plans by incorporating them into a well-structured meeting rhythm. To help you join this 20%, we'll outline an effective meeting strategy using the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) method.
To start implementing the EOS Meeting tool, visit the following link for a comprehensive summary and guide: https://www.eosworldwide.com/blog/perfect-meeting. This method will help you connect your objectives, or "rocks," to your weekly meetings.
In today's digital era, most of our meetings take place online through platforms like MS Teams (we switched from Zoom in early January, despite McKinsey's continued use :0 ). However, we still hold one crucial on-site meeting every Monday at 02:30 pm, a practice we've maintained and refined for over the years.
We call this gathering the "Weekly Adjustment Meeting," and true to its name, it serves to keep our plans and goals on track. This meeting, along with our thrice-weekly 15-minute pulse check-ins, forms the backbone of our company's operating model.
Stay tuned for more valuable insights in future issues of the Business Builder newsletter. With a solid foundation of goal setting, ongoing evaluation, and regular meetings, your company is well on its way to achieving lasting success.
I will continue sharing in the upcoming issues.
