Know thyself

In this issue we cover the second step of knowing yourself as a founder or business owner, which is common between all business coaching systems.

I will be sharing some of the best tools I have used.

Know thyself

Assessments are a great way to know more about yourself. However, they have a margin for error, the MBTI assessment has the highest margin and Birkman has the lowest margin and your milage will vary in between.

Here comes the importance of setting with a coach who understands these assessments so that these will save much time into helping him coaching based on who you are.

Most coaching methods go with a template you fill-up.

This is the scaling up template:

EOS has an entire practice for that called EOS Life with a podcast series and a book and they use the Kolbe assessment for you and your team.

The Mochary method has many tools, and they sometimes use the Enneagram.

The ultimate upgrade is to have a morning routine, that is balanced between your brain, heart and body.

The bullet journal method used alongside Obsidian was the ultimate hack for me.

If I have to pick one thing, I will go with the Enneagram plus Birkman or Kolbe and the bullet journal.

If you want more info about this, go back 2 weeks ago where I covered the top 10 assessments in depth.
