Design is important yet hard to quantify. A product's ability to stand out could be the result of its exceptional design. Design can be a crucial differentiator in the fast-paced fashion and consumer electronics markets.

It is also an important factor in the automotive and software industries.

Many software solutions have a leg up because of how they are designed, and UX is part of this design.

This week I purchased iA Writer, and the main reason was the design.

Many people choose the Arc Browser from the Browser company, the Bear Notes app, the iA Writer, and Apple products in general due to their strong design value proposition.

But these need to happen with other value propositions, for they are weak alone.
